BALTIMORE, MD -- Crystal Palace Baltimore take their winning show on the road for the first time this season, arriving in Bermuda on Friday morning for a 6:00pm showdown on Saturday at the National Stadium. Through those three victories, Palace have yet to concede a goal.
The Hogges are on a run of their own, having won their last two fixtures against Pittsburgh and Wilmington. Their heavy loss to Charlotte in their season opener was hardly a surprise as the vast majority of their first team had been called up to represent the Bermuda national side.
2007 was the inaugural season for both clubs and Palace came away with three wins out of three, including a lopsided 8-1 victory at their home ground last year, Navy-Marine Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.
Once again, there are no injuries to report in the Palace squad. Gary Brooks will hope to continue his own run, having opened the scoring in all three matches so far. Choosing between two ‘keepers with perfect records this season is the kind of managerial headache a coach doesn’t mind suffering and both Matt Nelson and Brian Rowland are in the squad that travelled to Bermuda.
Palace finish their road swing with a trip to play the Western Mass Pioneers the following Saturday, May 24th, at 7:30pm.
