CLEVELAND, OH -- Fresh of last week's 4-0 victory over Real Maryland, the City Stars will travel to the Washington D.C. area looking to duplicate the result in this Saturday's rematch.

Cleveland remains undefeated with a 2-0-2 record and enters the contest in third place in USL-2 with eight points. For the second consecutive year, the team is one of the first USL teams to already qualify for the US Lamar Hunt Open Cup, which could potentially bring a MLS (Major League Soccer) franchise to Cleveland very soon.

Real Maryland is tied for sixth place with three points. The expansion team stands at 1-3 with a victory over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and two losses to Western Mass to go along with last week's defeat at the hands of the City Stars.

Saturday's match starts at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown at 7:30 pm and will potentially be webcast live on the City Stars website.

Saturday is also the second trip of the season for the Green Army. Fans still have an opportunity to join the team on its first ever trip to Real Maryland and cheer our team to victory.

The cost is only $25 per person as the team is looking to duplicate the success of this season's first Green Army road trip to Harrisburg.

The busses will depart from the Stars Office in Twinsburg at 10 AM and return immediately following the Match, with overnight possibilities also available. The office is located at 3819 E. Aurora Rd in Twinsburg.

Stars on Kickin'it with Kenny TV Morning Show

The Stars woke up early Monday morning for a special practice at Krenzler Stadium that included kids from urban areas of Cleveland and an appearance on Fox 8's Kickin' it with Kenny.

Kenny Crumpton, the host of Cleveland's highest rated morning show, was an active participant in Monday's practice, having fun with the team and even getting involved with team drills.

The children from the Salvation Army Hough Center also got involved as they were able to shadow their favorite players and play fun games throughout the practice.

It was a special event for Martin Rennie and the players as the team was able to share their mission of "Serving the City & Changing the World" with Kenny and the Fox 8 viewers.

The Video copy of the Morning Show will be available in the Video Section of the City Stars Website shortly.
