PITTSBURGH, PA -- The Pittsburgh Riverhounds start a five-game road swing Thursday night with a match against the Western Mass Pioneers.

The Riverhounds earned their first point of the season last Saturday when Ed Hayden rifled in the rebound of a Joe Zewe shot in the 2nd minute. The defending USL-2 champion Harrisburg City Islanders got their only goal in the 77th minute and tied Pittsburgh 1-1 before 3,119 fans at Chartiers Valley Stadium.

After the Western Mass game on Thursday, the Riverhounds will depart for Bermuda, where they play the Hogges on Saturday night.

Pittsburgh will then visit Cleveland, Wilmington, and Charlotte, before returning home to play Cleveland for the third time this season on June 14th.

The Riverhounds placed both Hayden and Thabiso "Boyzzz" Khumalo on the USL-2 Team Of The Week following the tie with Harrisburg.

Pittsburgh also signed goalkeeper Phil Marfuggi, who was one of three players taken by the New England Revolution in the 2007 MLS Supplemental Draft.
